Anders
This past weekend, I did a photo shoot for my friends Nicole and Dave. Much like me, they prefer candid shots, so I was relieved that, despite the biting cold, they agreed to let Anders play outside long enough to allow me to get some good shots. Although the fall colors have just about disappeared, they still snuck into the background in many shots. Anders was a great, willing subject - my only problem was keeping up with him once we got outside! Due to his beautiful baby blues, most of my favorite shots are in color.
Looking a little sleepy after playing outside (love those red cheeks!)
Noah and Anders
I just love this family shot.

Luke & Cecilia
I've known Ben for more than ten years (!!) now and this past weekend, he and his wife Anna gave me the opportunity to photograph their kids, Cecilia and Luke. They are the cutest little munchkins, with the most amazing blue eyes. And little Miss Cecilia just loved the camera!

Tavio
Our friends Jen and Sal recently asked me to photograph their family and I was so honored to be asked. Here are some of my favorite pictures of their son Tavio and of them together as a family. I am so grateful to them for putting their trust in me.
I love this shot of Tavio - he looks like he has a secret but he's not telling.
Tavio - lovingly giving his Dad a "fist bump" from across the room. Too cute!
You can really tell how much Jen and Sal love their little man.

Trash the Dress
Sarah asked me to take pictures of her "trashing" her wedding dress - as some of you, the new thing is, after your wedding day, wearing the dress again and doing all sorts of things you would never do on your wedding day for fear of getting the dress dirty, wrinkled, etc. We took pictures in her yard, in a tree, with her cats, at the Wadsworth Mansion, in the leaves and on a stone wall. It was very neat and Sarah was a great sport (she's also the most self-confident woman I know!). Here are some of my favorites. For more pictures, click here.
This one is very fun - swinging away!
This is one of Sarah's favorite - cropped like this and in black and white.
I love the colors in this one - from the sky to the trees to the wall to the leaves on the ground.
My new "special effect" - fogging the lens to add some drama to the shot.
